I have worked as an artist educator leading projects linking with the curriculum in hundreds of schools all over the Northwest (UK), over a period of 20 years, since graduating from the Embroidery course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1994. I have worked on a large number of ambitious projects with young people, that have lead to digital exterior panels, carnival, installations, theatrical productions, costumes, fashion shows and exhibitions. I help children design and create often large scale artworks based on their ideas and research, that are displayed in school, gallery exhibitions or performance. I inspire and encourage children to use imagination and innovation, to create work they can be really proud of. I am sure these kind of experiences stay with the children, and show what they can achieve and open up creative opportunities!.
I am passionate about the work I do with people as I am directly involved in the creative development of young minds!.
