I am an actor, writer and director who also uses storytelling for performance, theatre, screenwriting and documentary film making.
Emmanuel is a Rwandan actor, writer and director living in Greater Manchester. He uses traditional and contemporary African and global stories to explore and enrich all aspects of the national curriculum.
Emmanuel has co-ordinated and delivered a range of arts activities and projects in primary and secondary schools, incorporating poetry, literacy, storytelling as a universal expression and to promote cultural awareness. He has worked on a number of community cohesion projects across the region and organised intercultural exchange events for refugees.
He uses screenwriting, animation and performance skills to bring stories to life, and can deliver workshops across all key stages. Workshops and activities can be tailor made to meet your curriculum or project needs.
