All this writing is good for me and may be just as good for you.

I’m going to keep this very brief as I want the emphasis to be on the story below. But i have noticed that since giving up alcohol my mind has started to tick over again and i can get quite excited about writing. Ever since i knew i could write I have always wanted to write and write from the heart  and get better at it. I have wrote diaries, (all pretty much lost now) then i started writing poetry because I knew it was something that I wouldn’t throw away. I still write the occasion poem as you will know if you have read any of my blog and i love songwriting a lot of which used to be quite serious stuff but i have got a lot better at writing with a tongue in cheek style and with more happiness involved as i have discovered it makes me a lot happier than when writing about sadness and the ill world we live in. There have been some times in my life that writing was the only thing I had of any worth and i have relished it.

Below is a story of a lady sent to me by a facebook friend I only know because they bought our VW camper van from someone i had sold it to. He noticed I had been writing stuff on facebook that was coming from my heart about stuff and stuff and i think just wanted to encourage me more into it. Which indeed by sending me this heart wrenching, beautiful story of the loss of their daughter has. Follow this link please.  Nuff said, peace……

Link to an incredible story of how this lady coped with losing her daughter from the big-C

  1. Paul Anderson says:

That’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing xx

  2. Thanks for sharing my writing. I, too, have found it therapeutic to pour my thoughts onto the pages of a diary. Even if nobody ever reads it, it helps me to order my mind and gives me a sense of being lighter. Sometimes, I might re-model my scribblings and turn them into poetry or prose that I think other people might be interested in. But even some of my stuff never sees the light of day, it has helped me, at least.
